Because folks like me, who exclusively breastfeed for a year (homebirth,
so we are certain there were no supplements) have kids with super long
lists of allergies.  Why are proteins large enough to be allergenic
getting out of my gut without being broken down more?

That said, I am quite healthy, no allergies of my own, etc.
