According to the newest edition of LLLīs Breastfeeding Answer Book, although the Lyme disease spirochete can be transmitted to an unborn baby from his mother via the placenta, there is no evidence that Lyme disease can be transmitted by breastfeeding.  It gives the 25th. ed. of  the AAP The Red Book(2000) as a reference.
