According to the website, this formula is USDA (United

States Dairy Assn.) approved, not FDA approved.

Subject: Organic Infant Formula

There is only one FDA approved organic infant formula on

the market. It is

not yet available nationwide but is available in some west

coast states.

The web site for Horizon Organic formula is

http://www.horizonorganic.com/index.html

Hope this is helpful.
