Hi all,
I have just returned from a fantastic conference in Amarillo, TX done by
Dr. Tom Hale (Medications and Mother's Milk)

The speakers were amazing and included;

Dr. Peter Hartman (Austrailia researcher)
Jane Morton
Paula Meier
Dr. Stephen Buescher (excellent speaker) anti-infective properties of bm
Leon Mitoulas - pumping frequency and duration and milk yields
Dr. Tom Hale - medications in preterm infants
Ching Tat Lai - preterm breastmilk and fortification
Donna Ramsay - live ultrasound of sucking mechancis of various infants
Jackie Kent - calcium and preterm breastmilk

and even more.

I highly recommend this conference to all interested in lactation, for both
perterm and term infants.

There were people from 37 states and 8 countries there!

The cost was very reasonable ($300) which included 2 meals daily for 3
days. Medela also had terrific drawings and I won a pump!

I expect to attend again next year and I believe that you can find
information on it, when it becomes available, at ibreastfeeding.com

You might want to sign up your email address to be sure you get a notice.

I learned so much, it's going to take awhile for me to absorb it.
