This was in this week's "Bizarre News" email newsletter. I love the
headline.

------------- After All, It Does A Body Good ---------------

Los Angeles - You can see just about anything in Los Angeles,
but one thing I bet you wouldn't expect to see would be 50
moms in "Got Breast Milk?" T-shirts nursing their infants
while protesting. However, that was the scene outside the
city's downtown Metro Transit Authority offices. It seems
that bus drivers and train conductors have been putting a
stop to breastfeeding on the city's various forms of public
transportation despite a 1997 state law that allows women
to breastfeed in public. One protester said, "I felt hurt,
embarrassed and humiliated. But I knew I had the right. I
thought to myself, 'I'm going to report this.'" An MTA
spokesperson told the protesters that a memo would go out
the agency's 500 employees. I love L.A.
