I seem to recall seeing Campbell Brown do a segment on breastfeeding a
year or so ago. At the time she had a child who was <1 year. Those
were not just her friends opinions, she tried and quit breastfeeding, it
seems to me, after a few weeks or months (perhaps when she returned to
work.) I remember thinking, oh great, now someone who did not really
successfully breastfeed is going to spread this poison on tv. I think
the segment I saw her do was on the new additives to formula and she had
a little personal commentary at the end of it about how she breastfed
briefly but was sooooo happy to have this type of formula to give her
child!
