Hello everyone (again!),
I can see I might be sending a few quotes from the Nature article from
Labbok & Goldman. Here is one that has struk me as important"
"So, mammalian milk is species specific, and non-breastfed human infants
experience an aquired immunodeficiency that increases the risk of infections
and other diseases."
I've never read anywhere the fact that non-breastfed human infants are
immunodeficient. Of course it's pure logic, but when you read it like I just
did, then it hits home and gets you thinking! Definitely a term to quote /
use in the future - for those who aren't already using it that is.
Now, wouldn't that be a "neat" term for a breastfeeding campaign!
groetjes
