Hi!  I'm an IBCLC in a level 3 NICU.  I have a mom here that found out
when pregnant that she only has one kidney, delivered baby prematurely,
is on dialysis, and is pumping and breastfeeding without obvious
problems, but the Neonatologists are wondering if the dialysis would
have any affect on the milk composition.  I'm not finding any literature
on breastfeeding while on dialysis.  The mom says the Nephrologist says
it's okay.  Anyone know of any reason why it wouldn't be okay, or where
to find this information?  Thanks for your time.
