This is so cool, Jean.   I've read anatomy books for years, and studied
histology 30 years ago, LOL but had never seen a book with this information.   And
the tap reflex has a name! It's funny how some things end up in lactation
texts and others don't.   I had known that the myoepithelial cells are not just
around the alveoli, but also on the distal ductules close to the alveoli where
they shorten them upon MER.

Now I will have to go get my last JHL back from whom I lent it to and read
your article more carefully (see, being on Lactnet over the years and reading
other posts from you made me lazy and I skimmed but didn't read the whole thing
yet) -- and the references.
