Someone just emailed our list with this case:
This mother went to her doctor with her baby because he looked like he had some kind of food intoxication. The doctor asked what food the baby had consumed and the mom said that he was also breastfeeding.( from the email, I assume he eats solids too) The doctor then asked if she had a sex an hour or less before breastfeeding and the mother said yes. He then confirmed that it was the cause of the intoxication.

I must have been out on vacation when this fact was discovered. You have to wait one hour after you make love before you pur your baby to the breast or else he will be in danger. And I thought I had heard almost every reason not to breastfeed.

This doctor will have to dig out his evidence on this one.
