Marsha, I strongly disagree with the US Breastfeeding Committee's acceptance
of a muted Breastfeeding Ad Campaign. Maybe I am the only person who feels
this way, maybe not. Sometimes compromise isn't a forward motion. Pleasing
organizations that have no interest in furthering breastfeeding goals may benefit
very few people. The Department of Health and Human Resources is run by a
politician who has the interests of the dairy industry in his heart. Why
should we appease him and his department?
My post was not about correct information. I was asking questions. You may
call me unprofessional if you wish. I am sorry that you were insulted by my
post. Questions should not destroy breastfeeding advocacy. If they do, then
heaven help us all.
