I agree with the others that this might be an anxiety response; it would
be interesting to see if she responded favorably to an antidepressant.

 I am also wondering if the tunnel vision might be related to a migraine
type of reaction. There are some women who report headache symptoms when
they nurse that seem to correlate with oxytocin surge, and tunnel vision
sometimes occurs with migraines.
