Susan,
I want you to know that not all doulas are ignorant when it comes to
breastfeeding information. Sometimes the best help a mom receives is from
her doula....we are often the first to get babes latched on and many of us
have had middle of the night trips over to clients houses to assist with all
sorts of breastfeeding challenges. Many doulas here are not only
Breastfeeding Educators but some are IBCLC's too. In EVERY profession there
is often that bad apple and I'm sorry you had a poor experience with a
doula.
