Hi Micky,
Here is my "scientific research" using a sample of one---me (ha ha).
Actually this is my personal experience. With my first baby, I felt each and every let down and had the pins and needles feeling. With every let-down, especially in the first few months, my other breast (one one that baby was not nursing on) would leak like crazy. With baby number 2--nothing, no feelings at all. They might have been so mild that I neverd noticed them. Each baby, however had plenty of milk to drink.
As a LLL leader, I had one mom complain that let-down was very painful and not the "nice" feeling that everybody told her about. This was a new one to me so I look it up and sure enough it was in the Breastfeeding Answer Book. So I guess all woman are different in their experience of let-down.
Best Regards,
Donna Lambert
