FWIW and just my opinion:

The Sales Rep/Detail Man is likely to know who you are without
introduction. He is ready and eager to engage you into discussion. He wants
to elicit some comment from you that perhaps this version of his formula is
better than the previous version. Then he will boast that the LC/IBCLC
endorses his new formula! So be very careful about trying to "one-up" the
Rep. I think they are all trained in how to debate and they love a public
forum in which to do it. Unless you are also well prepared for public
debate, I suggest avoiding one.

This is his personal "Dog and Pony Show" for staff in your facility. Just
watch him in action and take notes. Our Rep literally makes the women
swoon! He is soooo nice & soooo good looking. No one would appreciate my
efforts to show the hazards of formula during the Rep's presentation.

You can always address all his issues with staff after he leaves in your
usual staff education methods and with all the resources at your disposal.
And you have more time in which to do it.

BTW: ours brings catered lunch from a favorite mom-n-pop BarBeQue
restaurant in our city. Free food makes staff flock into the room. Eat
first or bring your own.

Phyllis
