Joylyn, I was going to suggest that you send a
shortened version of the letter (I, too, have a lot to
say- see my reviews on Amazon- they clearly need
shortening!)- until you got to the upheaval in your
troop. That makes it harder, even though you are
completely correct in what you want to say to the mom.
My suggestion at this point would be to mention it to
the mom- tell her what you did and what the laws are.
In time, as the group settles down, then maybe write a
letter. I know how difficult organisational trauma
can be and how totally unrelated items can bring such
things to the forefront again, and I'm sorry that has
to be a concern of yours.
