I think we have a responsibility to say what we think of certain books,
and why. Parents may disagree and purchase it anyway, but at least
you've given your opinion.
The authors of this book (and the series) have been rewarded over a long
period, often it's recommended as it's the only one that obstetricians and
others can recall !

Providing constructive feedback to authors and publishers is also useful.

There are excellent reviews of many childbearing materials, including this
book at
http://www.ourbodiesourselves.org/advice5.htm

I made my decision about these books - we don't stock them. Clients rely on
me (and you as health professionals) to make decisions and provide a
shortened list..
titles like these are easily sourced if parents/pregnant women really want
them.
