Linda,
Thanks for your very insightful delineation of the differences
between consulting with and being "in the pocket of" commercial
interests.  There is somewhat of a fine line between the two and
there will always be some situations where some will feel a
particular action is legit while others will feel it crosses the
line.  Let's hope we can continue to share our personal beliefs in
these areas without resorting to attributing motivations to others
based only on our own view of where that line should be drawn.
