I saw him featured on a television show recently and I was a little put
off by the fact that, at least in the television show, his
recommendations were portrayed as something you try "in order"... in
otherwords, first you do the swaddling, if that doesn't work then you try
the swinging, if that doesn't work, then you try the shushing, (I think
I'm forgetting one other thing?) and LASTLY, sucking and he mentions
nursing at the breast then.  Do the book and videos present the
information in the same way?  I would be a little concerned about using
it if it suggested doing these things in order, especially since sucking
is last on the list.
