I have no financial interest nor commercial benefit in the following company
nor its product, but I would like to share the following information about a
product that worked for me...
Rit (registered trademark) Laundry Treatment Color Remover, purchased for
less than three dollars at local supermarket, DID remove all Gentian Violet
stains from my clothing, baby's clothing, sheets, and washable nursing pads
after following the washer method directions. Ingredients of this color
remover are sodium hydrosulfite and sodium carbonate anhydrous. I wonder if
others would be concerned with allergies or safety of product before
recommending its use to their clients. I'm assuming it's safe on my nursing
pads and baby clothes if several washes follow use. Feedback??? Label
directions do state "rewash items with detergent" after using product.

Now if I could only find a product to get the stains off my bathroom
countertop!
