Dear Wise ones...
I am no longer lurking, but jumping in. I have received a call from a
mother who is nursing a 12 month old who has recently found a breast lump.
She has consulted 2 surgeons here in Ohio. One has told her to wean, the
other won't see her until she does wean. She on the other hand, despite
her family's wishes, will not even consider it. I am hoping some of you
may have some suggestions for surgeons in Ohio that will help her while she
continues to nurse her baby. The first surgeon told her it was about time
she found better ways to feed her baby, so she is determined to find help
and continue to enjoy her relationship with her daughter.
Thank you so much for your help. You may answer to the list and privately
if possible.

Karen Roeske RN, IBCLC
