A couple of years ago, I found that the hospital I worked in was paying something like $5 or more for non medical grade lanolin. I pointed out that they could get small tubes of Lansolin for less. Actually, I got an OB to do this with the head of pharmacy. But I told her about the price difference.

I am very allergic to wool and could not even pick up an already opened tube of lanolin without my hands burning. It usually had some smeared on the outside. As the hospital LC, I could not even show moms how to apply
