My 3 kids all *adore* Friends (the 17-year-old has been caught
mouthing along to the dialogue, she has seen some of the episodes so
many times - hmmmmmm) and I have caught a few of them - usually when
they call me in to watch if there's something about bf : )
It is hugely popular among late teens and 20-somethings in the UK.
When bf has been mentioned, at least what I have seen, it's been done
senstitively and fairly accurately, though with humour (of course).
I remember the sequence where Ross was about to drink some EBM, and
his revulsion/confusion was discussed.
Shame Rachels' baby wasn't rooming in, but hey, you can't have everything : (
