We give mums specimen jars(hold 70ml) initially when they are in hospital to
express into.
For the electric pumps they are supplied with a small EvenFlo plastic bottle
,I think they hold about 150mls.These bottles are and lids undergo a
decontamination process in CSSD prior to use.

For mums to express into at home we supply small gallipots (like take away
food container) which hold 100mls+.They cold sterilise them before use.Easy
to stack and freeze.

We looked at using  Zip-Lock plastic food storage bags but they were deemed
to be not economical .Plus a survey of other hospitals in Australia showed
that no where else was using them.
