my second son was breastfed but also diagnosised as an asthmatic at about
4months requiring the use of steroid based asthmatic inhalors. He was also
below his appropriate height for age for quite some time ,luckily the ped I
was seeing for his asthma said not to worry about it as he would grow once
his was able to come off his asthma treatment.

He was able to cease regular treatment from the age of 4-5 yrs and now is
almost as tall as me ( 5ft 1 1/2ins) and still growing at 12yrsMy first son
(amost 16yrs) who was breastfed for 6 months until I went back to work was
short for a long time also but now towers over me ,his father is about
5'6".I'm not sure whether he has stopped growing yet.
My 9yr older daughter is going to be taller then me also.

All 3 children had asthma treatment in their early years, so I always
ignored height charts if they were well and happy.
