About 6 years ago, our local ILCA affiliate decided to survey non-member
IBCLCs. They mostly said that they were too busy to attend the MLCA
functions. Interestingly, though, about 30% of the respondents enclosed
membership checks with their survey! That level of response much more than
covered the cost of doing the survey.
