I know how that feels, .........and your wording is encouraging and
compassionate;

you write:<<........but come closer to what you say:
I say something like "You are the mom, and you know what your current
stresses and goals are. It's my job to provide good information about
your baby's health and yours, and your choice to decide what to do with
that info and how to arrange your 24 hour day.">>

At some point it seems we should progress enough to be able to convey in
appropriate terms that breastfeeding should not primarily be a mom's personal
choice issue, .....it is significantly a baby health and well-being issue.

How to convey that most appropriately?
