On the topic of ignorance, selfishness  and reasons for not breastfeeding
the article  by Schmeid, Sheehan and Barclay (2000) contemporary
breast-feeding policy and practice: implications for midwives. Midwifery 17,
44-54 sheds more insight into this important topic in our  social constructs
of present society.
