For moms who are pumping long term, milk supplies can often decrease
temporarily with menstruation, or due to decreased stimulation in general,
through less direct breastfeeding, less stimulation overall, or due to
pregnancy, or stress/fatigue, or illness.
I find that mothers who are pumping a lot gradually pump less and
breastfeed less over time, and some find that the supply does lessen.
Fenugreek and blessed thistle to those non diabetic/non asthmatic moms may
help,...and increased stimulation.
