I've had experience with "burping" pumps several times.  Usually I
notice that the breast shield is not well sealed to the breast.  It
sometimes helps to express a little milk onto the sheild and spread it
around then continue pumping.  I've also used a dab of Lansinoh to
acheive the same effect.
