  I would approach it that the servies at the hospital are part of the fee
that is paid to the hospital for delivery/ Some hospitals inyour area do
charge to see patients back in... in these cases agains usually much less
than the cost of a private practice lc... again, they are on staff and so
they are part of the hospital overhead ...

  I think a greater problem for private practice lc's are the lc's ( usually
hospital based) that see mom's outside for little or no renumeration.
