Dear Susan,

Great letter! I had a question about your comment about blisters.

You wrote:

bottom lip, remind mom (& the crowd) that the wet
underside of the lip must flange and cover the breast

another reason to double check frenulum.  If on top,
check top lip as well.

I had been taught sucking blisters were a positive sign, normal and
expected. It sounds like you think they may warn the position of latch
is incorrect. Could you clarify for me please?
