 "In fact, recent
research has shown that upwards of 70% of migraine sufferers are deficient
in Magnesium and that it is the cause of both vascular and muscle spasm
 underlying their problems."

Chris,
There is a researcher in Stamford, CT, at a Headeache Research Center, who says that migraines are not at all caused by vascular spasm. He says that it is the last event in a cascade of events which begins deep inside the brain. I actually sat in my car listening to the radio for over 10 minutes, waiting to go into a store, so I could hear him. Of course, this doesn't change the fact that magnesium deficiency appears to be related. One of the things I do when my 12 yr ds gets a migraine is give him the tissue salt mag phos. That and nat sulph are all he ever needs and he is having them very rarely now.
Jennifer
