This obviously isn't a lactating knowledgeable nutritionist.....because the
amount at the pump does not signify any relation to the amount the baby is
getting at the breast. Counting wettings is a better manner.....or the whole
gram sensitive scale routine if needed. Taking a look at how often the baby
is nursing as well. Every Mom who, when they were concerned about weight
gain, and would follow my advice and put the baby in a sling against their
skin and nurse at least every 60 - 90 minutes all during the Mom's waking
hours............saw a significant weight gain. I would suggest that to her
and see the difference it makes.
