Haven't found any Aikido moves that work, either with my children or the
mothers I work with... Tai Chi, maybe, to move the energy around.
I find the best way is to just smile and say, "I wouldn't give up having
a baby snuggle with me in bed for anything in the world. It is so sad
when they decide they want to move into their own beds!"
It appeals to the warm-and-fuzzy that develops in the first hour after
birth, if not before, and it also assures them that there will, indeed,
come a time when you have to buy more furniture.
