anecdotes are used by health care professionals so often.>>

yes, I'll admit I use this when applicable to the situation, sometimes, if
desparate to evoke positive change in resistant parents, I'll even resort to
scare tactics, like when parents resist using a car seat I tell them why I am
so concerned.....due my experiences as a pediatric intensive care nurse and
how I remember having to work hard to scrub road tar and tire marks from a
baby's skin before their parents came in the room to see their baby for the
first time on a ventilator. No guarentee, but, a car seat properly used is
just another way to decrease chances of that happening.

There was recently two stories in the newspaper of moms BF while driving, one
mom was also using her cell phone.

<< We think it is normal for children to get lots of ear infections, to have
lots of colds, and fevers, and generally to be sick several times a year. >>

and to regularly take bottles of antibiotics for these illnesses.... -->
increased incidence of drug resistant strains. How can you decrease the
chances of your baby needing to take bottles of antibiotics?.........BF
