My 11 yr old son BF for 3 and 1/2 yrs and has never had an ear infection. He
has only been seen at the MD once for a sinus infection when he was 3 yrs
oldand a few well visits. Well, he got sick last week with a stomach virus
and was very very sick for 3 days. I know that 3 days may not seem like a
long time for moms who deal with ear infections and URI's repeatedly, but for
me it was a very long time!  I realize that there are other factors which
contribute to health-environment, genetics etc but I firmly believe Bfing
contributed a great deal to him being so healthy.  And I hope this is the
only stomach virus he has for a very long time!

Eastern NC ( Has anyone noticed how many Barbs, and Barbaras there are on
this list? The other Barb in NC is in the Western part of the state and I am
in the Eastern part!)
