Look...I wasn't trying to beat you over the head. Unless my body is sending
emails without me knowing it is, I only posted about the blood in stools
once in the past year, once or twice in the 3 years before that (once a
year is okay, right?). Now, I am feeling flamed because you felt the need
to copy my entire post correcting the misinformation about blood in the
stool coming from mom's nipples in your post regarding "beating you over the
head". Please don't do this.

I am a bit perplex about your statement that you said you weren't an LC.
When I went to your website, it appeared to be promoting bf and that you are
listed as a bf activist (huraah--we need more). There are many non-IBCLCs
on LN who are very knowledgable about bf. Even those who are not IBCLCs,
especially those self-proclaimed activists" need to be well-informed and
open to new or corrected information. I learn something from LN everyday,
and I learn something from EVERY patient. If and when I stop learning, I
will quit. So, in short, please if you want us to be patient with YOU, then
be patient with US. Not all of us read every LN in order (especially when
we get behind, we may just read the current posts to address anyones'
immediate acute bf problem that might deteriorate in a 24 hour period). I
have often posted on a late night or weekend asking for immediate help, and
I've been fortunate enough that someone like Jack Newman was "on" at that
hour so I could get a second opinion almost on the spot.
