Heather,
I did request that a second draw for prolactin be done to check the "spike"
after 10-15 minutes of nursing/pumping, but the HCP declined this, and that
is the usual response I receive when making such a request. I agree that it
would have been nice to have that additional piece of info, but I suspect
that cost containment plays a role in why it is rarely done.
