Personally, I do prefer the cup....but IME the parents have perceived the
dropper as being easier...esp when there's no one there to give hands on help
in demonstrating either technique.

That's just been my experience when recommending techniques over the phone.
Mom or dad are saying "cup?  a baby can't drink from a cup...how do you get a
baby to drink from a cup.  do you mean sippy cup?" but when I say dropper,
they're much more relaxed....
