I have a 1 year old patient who nurses in AM and to sleep in PM and had been nursing at noon.
He is in day care and mom would go there at lunch and nurse him.
Lately he cuddles up on moms lap, isn't interested in nursing takes a pacifier and quickly falls asleep.
I have suggested to mom she offer the breast first, if he refuses give him the pacifier and as he falls asleep slip it out and offer the breast again.
Any other ideas?
Please reply privately as I'm going no mail for awhile.
