In regard of this discussion, the following may be interesting:

citation:

"The streak canal must be opened to remove milk. This can occur by:

negative pressure - such as with the milking machine

positive pressure - such as with hand milking

positive and negative pressure - both occur during suckling

A small amount of milk may be obtained from the teat cistern, the gland cistern,
and the large ducts by passive milk removal in the absence of milk ejection. "

It is interesting to see that hand expressing and electric expression is
categorized as two different things. so, probably we cannot apply the results of
the one thing, to the other thing.
