The following post was sent to me by a fellow LC who is not on Lactnet.
What do you think?

Pat Gima, IBCLC
Milwaukee, Wisconsin

>Hi Pat, I would like info on this if you have it or know where I can get
it. A mother had one ovary removed/got pregnant and during the pregnancy
had the other ovary removed. Now should or can the MD prescribe estrogen
after delivery or wait? 2 MDs are discussing this-one MD feels estrogen
will get very deficient in the 6 wks yet both MDs want to support
brstfding.
