I agree with Ginger about 101%! When you make someone an "honorary" member,
you need to anticipate any and all possible consequences. For example, what
would happen if Tipper was later recruited by a formula company to do an
ad?  OK, that's not likely to happen, but it can.

Honorary members may or may not have the same commitment and understanding
that other members have. Having a 'famous' person on board can give the
organization a lot of visibility, but the benefit of that visibility may
not always be congruent with the goals of the organization.
