Subject: drying up
Date: Mon, May 29, 2000, 11:39 AM

For drying up, I have succesfully used sage (in capsule form build up to 3
capsules TID) with mint tea as fluids (exclusively in place of all other
drinks) and putting cabbage leaves in the bra continuously. This works
remarkably well. I have had moms use it for temporary weaning as well.
Moms have come up to me at conferences and said "I didn't bring a pump and
I'm exploding." After teaching them Marmet's expression technique, I've
recommended the above. They've reported that they haven't had a problem
building their supply back up again either. BTW, sage tea is awful tasting
and not as effective, so I really do mean capsule form. I hope this
provides another alternative.
