I saw a new type of formula when browsing in the local Boots (chain
of pharmacies in UK). I hadn't come across it before, and I hadn't
even seen it advertised in the nursing press. It could be that it is
not officially launched yet.

It's called Omneo Comfort and it is under the Cow&Gate label (if I
remember right).  It's about twice the price of the cheapest formula,
and its slogan on the pack is something like  'for hard to settle
bottle fed babies from birth'.

It is slightly higher in calories per 100ml than the other formiulas.
Its main ingredient is Glucose Syrup.

Yes, I can well imagine that this would help a newborn 'settle'.


Anyone else come across it?
