I'm struggling with thois too. I hear so much confusion about this topic!
foremilk, hindmilk, etc. peopl e are asking: after how many minutes my baby
gets the hindmilk.

We've learned people to nurse on demand. And then we meet children with
colic, because the mothers have an overabundant of milk and they are very
very full. And they are told to reintroduce a schelud, or to don't switch
sides for 3 or 4 hours.

I'm very reluctant to say this to people. I feel we should never refer to
the clock in talking about number of nursing sessions, and duration fo
nursing sessions. so, what i try to learn the mothers is: you could try to
switch sides less often. watch your child, and switch sides once you notice
he would like to receive a big meal again. Soon you'll notice he'll start
reaching to the other side himself. Baby's are smarter than we think!
