What Í've experienced both personal as in mothers I work with is, that as
long as mom fights the broken nights she will feel drowsy and miserable in
the morning, but once she accepts the situation as it is - baby wakening and
wanting to suckle or just make sure mom is there and then take a sip or two
because she's awake anyway - she'll not notice much of the awakening and
feel rested in the morning.
This ofcourse is more thrue if mom and baby share one bed, but if that's not
a possibility for that mom, she might want to try the sidecar arrangement,
which leaves the baby in his own bed, just besides mom.
