Just got off the phone with a mom I saw last week whose
baby was struggling with latch problems. Her pediatrician
said there had been too much initial weight loss and she had to
supplement after each feeding.  Birth weight was 8lbs 10ozs.
Last week wt was 8lbs 3ozs.  After we fixed the latch babe nursed
very well and mom felt no more need to supplement.
Todays wt was 9lbs 2ozs (2 wks) and the pediatrician told her that was too
much to gain in one week and that she was to put the baby on a four
hour schedule and give the baby a pacifier so he wouldn't  'overfeed' !!

Question is, if I sent him information would he read it ?
